This weekend I'll be whirling about in my garden admiring the flora and fauna - I might sit and swing along side the marigolds if I so wanna. The south and west facing beds are all abloom - looking rather stately and without a single mushroom! I've got my groundskeeper to thank for that - he's quite the garden crackerjack, to which I tip my hat at. His name is Hans, he brilliantly manages the palm fronds here at the Lilien Manse. My job is to keep the grounds trimmed with ornaments and such - I'm a firm believer that one can never have too much! Spinny pinwheels, gold gilded gnomes and flamboyant flamingos - are just a few of the things my garden bestows. I plan to fill all the feeders with sumptuous seed - the gourmet blend that attracts the brightly colored breeds, indeed! I've taken some pledges to shape a few hedges - into whimsical edges - and just for the occasion I picked up a pair of Kate Spade Wedges! The only way to tend garden is with cocktails, of course - and in doing so one becomes a happy workhorse. Knowing so, I'll mix a pitcher of delicious sweet tea - the kind with a kick, the perfect all day bevy! So take your cue from Hans and me - tend your garden properly, you'll be delighted at what can grown, you'll see!
